Are you new to using genAI tools or have you been using them but are unsure if you are doing a good job or if it is even permitted for your assignments? This session will introduce students to the use of generative AI in the context of completing their university schoolwork. Students will learn when they can and cannot use AI for assignments and be introduced to some basic best practices for using genAI tools such as ChatGPT ethically and effectively along with providing several use cases. It will introduce students to selected other tools specifically for assistance with information discovery and research assignments.
